Shipping Information

Order Processing

We carefully prepare each plant for shipment within 1-2 business days after receiving your order. Our horticulture team personally inspects every Aesculus and Amelanchier specimen before packaging.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We offer two reliable shipping options to accommodate your needs:

  • Standard Shipping ($12.95):
    • Carrier: DHL or FedEx
    • Delivery time: 10-15 business days after shipment
    • Recommended for delicate plants like Acer ginnala and grafted specimens
  • Free Shipping (Orders over $50):
    • Carrier: EMS
    • Delivery time: 15-25 business days after shipment
    • Best for hardy perennials like our Achillea and Ajuga varieties

Note: We currently ship worldwide except to certain Asian countries and remote regions. Delivery times may vary during peak seasons.

Our Return & Exchange Promise

We stand behind every plant we ship, from our specialty Acer collection to our flowering Alcea varieties. If you’re not completely satisfied, we offer a 15-day return window from the date of delivery.

Non-Returnable Items

To protect plant health, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom-grafted specimens (marked as “cv” in our catalog)
  • Plants that have been repotted or substantially altered
  • Digital downloads or care guides
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Certain delicate specimens like Acer ginnala and Albizia varieties (special handling required)

Simple 5-Step Return Process

Step 1: Initiate Your Return

Within 15 days of delivery, email our Gardening Support Team at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the plant in its current condition
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

Step 2: Receive Approval & Instructions

Within 2 business days, we’ll send:

  • Return authorization number
  • Shipping instructions (including any special plant packaging requirements)
  • Prepaid return label for defective items

Step 3: Prepare Your Package

Please repackage the plant securely in its original container if possible. Include all plant tags and care instructions.

Important: For the health of our plants, we cannot accept returns that show signs of improper care or pest damage.

Step 4: Ship Your Return

Send your package via the carrier specified in your return instructions. We recommend using the same expedited service (DHL/FedEx) used for your original delivery to ensure plant health during transit.

Step 5: Receive Your Refund or Exchange

Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 5 business days of arrival):

  • Refunds: Processed within 3 business days to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Exchanges: Your replacement plant will ship within 2 business days with the same shipping method as your original order

Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases of our error.

International Returns

For customers outside the United States (excluding restricted regions):

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
  • Please include all phytosanitary certificates with your return
  • Refunds will be issued in USD and may be subject to currency conversion fees

Damaged or Incorrect Shipments

If your Acer platanoides or other plants arrive damaged or incorrect:

  1. Take photos of the packaging and plant within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Email photos to [email protected] with “DAMAGED SHIPMENT” in the subject line
  3. We’ll typically send a replacement immediately or issue a full refund
